For both adults and children our Dental Hygienists remove soft and hard deposits from teeth, teach good oral hygiene, and provide other preventive dental care. They examine our patients' teeth and gums, recording the presence of diseases or abnormalities.
Our Hygienists use x-ray machines to take dental pictures. They use models of teeth to explain oral hygiene, perform root planning as a periodontal therapy, or apply cavity-preventative agents such as fluorides and pit and fissure sealants.
Oral hygiene is important to your health. A variety of conditions may arise due to the lack of proper oral hygiene such as bad breath, dental cavities, toothaches and gum disease. Prevention is the key to good dental health.
